Have concerns within your family that everyone is willing to work through, together? This session is to be scheduled whether it is your initial assessment or follow-up session (e.g. for new and existing clients). The max size of your family must be 4 persons.

Family therapy is a dynamic process that addresses family dynamics and relationships. It aims to improve communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen bonds among family members. With the guidance of a therapist, families explore patterns, work through challenges, and develop effective strategies to foster understanding, support, and harmony within the family unit.


Group Therapy

Have a collective concern? Here we provide a space for individuals (i.e. 3-6 persons) to explore their mental health concern(s) through a communal process. There are structural guidelines to follow. However, what is to be discussed is up to the group members. On occasion, we offer group therapy with a predetermined topic.

Rachael holds a BSc Hons from the University of Toronto Mississauga in Psychology, Professional Writing, and Biology. She is currently in her final year of the Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology program at Yorkville University and has completed her coursework for her degree. 

Volunteering and mentoring in crisis and suicide prevention support services, Rachael gained experience supporting individuals in distress with various concerns and demographics. Her reflective and person-specific approach pulls from solution-focused, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), multicultural, trauma-informed, psychodynamic, and narrative lenses.

Hello, my name is Sean Hew Wing. Thank you for taking a moment to learn more about me. Sean has his diploma in Applied Holistic Nutrition from the Institute of Holistic Nutrition. A pivotal decision he chose to pursue after creating a successful career in the financial sector for two decades.

Sean provides nutritional counseling to individuals, couples and families. Sean works with persons to restore a healthy lifestyle and to correct imbalances that are affecting their daily lives (GI issues, energy levels, inflammation, metabolic issues). Sean’s goal when assisting clients is to focus on a holistic view of their health to uncover the root cause of their concerns. DeRoux is a licensed psychotherapist in Ontario, Canada, with 12+ years working and volunteering as a psychotherapist. He also has a master’s degree in Counselling Psychology with an emphasis in Family Therapy. My educational background includes a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Yorkville University. I also hold an Honours Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto Scarborough in Mental Health and Population Health Studies.
